Sixthstar admits that there are several steps when your domain expires to safe from losing any domains you wish. We used to send reminders to renew your domain name 30 days prior to the renewal date. If you are unable to secure payment on or before the domain renewal date, your domain name will automatically expire.
So, in Sixthstar your domain name after expiration ,will be deactivated and replaced with a blank page indicating the domain name has expired, and other services that are associated with the domain name may no longer function.
As early as 30 days after expiration, your domain name may be purchased by a third party. If a third party purchases the domain name during this time, the domain name will not be available forever to renew.

If your domain is currently configured to auto-renew and you do not wish to renew it, you must disable the auto renewal option up to 12 hours prior to the renewal date confirmed in your email notification.
In Sixthstar, if a domain name is registered, it belongs to the company/individual that registered it. If you are really interested in having a domain name that is already registered to someone else, you can contact the owner of the domain name; you should wait for the registration to expire.

First of all, regarding making change, you must send a request to registrar, who will then put the request through to the registry to proceed further in Sixthstar.
Sixthstar explains you that, each domain name are also the maintenance fee which varies depending on the domain registry.
Sixthstar will process your domain registration order within a day, after your domain name has been registered successfully, it will be added to your domain panel account. However, the activation of your domain name will take up to 3 days to allow your domain's information to be live in all the DNS servers globally.
No charges will apply for that in Sixthstar. The price you are paying as specified on the order form is all you need to pay for your domain name, no other hidden charges.
You can register your domain name for a minimum of 1 year; Sixthstar would recommend you to register it for a longer period than that.

Sixthstar suggests the domain name registrations can be checked by doing a “whois” tool search. If a domain name is available, you can proceed further. A domain name that has been taken would be labeled as it is ‘Already Taken’.
So in Sixthstar If the domain name is not renewed before it expires, it will enter an ‘Expired’ state. The domain name remains same, depending on the domain registry and the changes cannot be made to the domain name and hosting services associated to the domain name will not work. There is no penalty for renewing your domain name while it is expired.
