You can use your backup to re-install your ‘Private Key’ using a system administrator. Contact us if you don’t find any backups.
How do I generate CSR?
You can do that with your web server.
The CSR cannot be decoded. What does that mean?
Confirm whether the copied file is correct with the appropriate header and footer with hyphens. Be sure that it is not your previous SSL or self-signed certificate. Also, check whether your password has alphanumeric characters or any other disallowed characters. If it remains, kindly avoid it. You will be required to generate a new CSR without those characters. Always try to use alphabets and numbers only.
What is code signing certificate?
A code signing certificate is a digitally signed certificate by the author to prove that it is not altered or corrupted by anyone. You can sign in many different types of codes.
How do I download my code signing certificate?
Follow the link that is sent to the email address and click download using the same computer. Firefox will automatically detect the previously stored private key and install it. Export it from the browser when the download completes.
How do I export my certificate from my browser?
Follow the below steps to export from Firefox.
- Click open.
- Select ‘Options’
- Click “Advanced” or “Encryption”
- Under the certificate tab, select “View Certificates”
- Select your certificate name under your certificates

I purchased a renewal certificate but still, the old certificate is shown? What should I do?
Just restart your web server (HTTP server). In case if you have any old certificates or any incorrect files, delete them immediately.

Check the following reasons:
- If the issued certificate is SHA-1. So you need to reissue a new SHA-2 hash certificate.
- If it shows HTTP. So you should update it soon.
